The plugin & the automatic loop

Most of Neuronz.ai reaches your agent through one plugin, available for Claude Code (including the Claude desktop app's Code tab) and Oh-My-Pi. Installed once for your user, it loads in every repo you open with no per-project setup, and it runs the memory loop at fixed points of each session without you invoking anything.

This page uses harness for the coding agent you use (Claude Code, the Claude desktop app, Oh-My-Pi).

The loop

WhenWhat happensFeature
Session startGives the agent a short briefing: your profile, the rules that apply and a count of stored facts. Makes the profile's skills and commands available.Session briefing, skills & assets
Every promptSearches memory, past work and docs for what you asked, tells the agent how much matched and to read it, and names the rules that may apply.Auto-recall, rules
Before a tool call (Claude Code only)Names the rules that apply to the action about to run, with the call that fetches their text.Rules
As tools runKeeps a private log of which tools ran in the session.Persistent memory
At a stopping pointAsks the agent to take one quiet turn to save the session's durable facts.Self-consolidation
Context compactionSaves the tool log so far, and tells the agent to read its rules again, since the compacted context may have lost them.Rules
Session endSaves the tool log as an entry in your past work, and records which of your skills and commands ran.Persistent memory
Session end (Claude Code in a terminal only)Runs one background turn that saves what the session established.Detached capture

Chats and Cowork tasks in the Claude desktop app, and claude.ai, don't run the plugin; they reach Neuronz.ai as a connector, and you ask Claude to recall or save. See Claude desktop app. For everything that differs between harnesses, see harness parity.

Installing

The plugin is installed from the Neuronz.ai marketplace for your user, so the same install follows you from repo to repo. Its hooks run on your machine and call Neuronz.ai over the network. See Connect your agent for the commands for each harness.

Once installed, sign in with:

text
/neuronzai:login

The plugin opens your browser to sign in; there is no token to paste. The loop runs from your next prompt.

The plugin's own commands carry the neuronzai: prefix, for example /neuronzai:capture and /neuronzai:switch-profile. See Plugin commands & skills for the full list.
